Question: Hey didn't you steal the design on the back from SKAWPO?
Answer: I want to give credit to Skawpo for the original idea, it served as a major inspiration for my design. Both of us traced the linework from the Madoka Magica production notes. Any other common elements between my design & Skawpo's have been recreated from scratch, in a "clean room implementation" of the concept.
Much like Skawpo recontextualised official art from the show, I believe the differences in my design add new interpretations to the art. Also, unlike Skawpo's design, you can actually buy this one.
Question: Why is this so expensive?
Answer: The shirt uses high-quality AS Colour stock, and is printed in so-called Australia by someone who is paid a livable wage. Shipping is expensive.
Question: Is this made with ethically-sourced cotton?
Answer: There's no such thing as ethically-sourced cotton. But you can read AS Colour's marketing spiel here. I chose them because they make really high-quality garments.
Question: Where does my money go?
Answer: Most of the money goes to production costs. Profits go to a disabled trannarchist. I'll use some to buy sex toys, some will go to direct action, and most of it will be stolen by my landlord.
